How the daily sudoku works

There is one puzzle a day and everyone gets the same one, wherever they are. A new puzzle appears every day at midnight UTC, and the countdown above shows exactly when.

The difficulty follows the week: easy on Monday and Tuesday, medium on Wednesday and Thursday, hard on Friday and Saturday, and an expert puzzle to finish the week on Sunday.

Solve the puzzle on its own day to grow your streak. Missed a day? Past puzzles stay playable, so you can catch up and complete the week. Catching up fills in the week card, but only puzzles solved on their day count toward a streak.

Questions

When does the new daily sudoku come out?

Every day at midnight UTC. That is the same moment everywhere, so the new puzzle arrives in the early morning in Europe and the evening before in the Americas.

Can I play previous days?

Yes. Every puzzle since the first one stays playable: open a day from the week card or the calendar. Solving it later marks it as caught up.

Do I need an account?

No. Your progress and streak are saved on this device. Sign in if you want them to follow you to your other devices.

Is every daily puzzle solvable without guessing?

Yes. Each one has exactly one solution that can be reached by logic. If you get stuck, the hint button shows you the next step.
